How can I install ScholarSoft products under Windows Vista?
To install the software on systems running Windows Vista, you must have administrative rights during the installation. You may obtain administrator rights by logging in as the system administrator, or you can escalate your normal user rights for the installation using the "Run As->Administrator" feature offered by the OS. To access the "Run As" feature, right click on the icon for the ScholarSoft product that you are installing and select the "Run As" option. Then select "Administrator". Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

To register your ScholarSoft product under Windows Vista, you must run the software using Administrator rights when you are registering it. You may obtain administrator rights by logging in as the system administrator, or you can escalate your normal user rights when launching the software you are registering. To escalate your user rights, find the icon for the ScholarSoft product that you are registering and right click on it. On the menu that appears click the "Run As" option. Then select the "Administrator" option to launch the software. Follow the instructions given on the Register page to complete the registration process and unlock the software. Once the software is registered it can run normally using your standard user rights.
